All cedar shake prices are USD / square (100 sq ft of coverage) at standard exposures.

Standard (Maximum) Exposures for all of our Cedar Shakes are as follows:

18" Cedar Shakes (Hand Split and Tapersawn, Premium and #1 Grade): Standard Exposure 7 1/2"

24" Cedar Shakes (Hand Split and Tapersawn, Premium and #1 Grade): Standard Exposure 10 "

Calculating Product Quantities at Non-Standard Exposures:

Please Note: Do not exceed standard (maximum) exposures noted above.

Use the formula below to calculate coverages:

Sq ft of coverage required x Standard Exposure ÷ Desired Exposure ÷ 100 = # of squares required.

For example,

If you require 3000 sq ft of coverage, for 18" Premium Heavy Shakes (7 1/2" exposure) and wish to use a 5 " exposure...

3000 sq ft x 7 1/2" ÷ 5" ÷ 100 sq ft/square = 45 squares

Please order an additional 5%-10% to provide for waste, starter courses, valleys, and cuts.
